Smoked up 4 boneless hen breasts today. 4 pucks of hickory @225* until the meat was @180*. Cut up and into the white northern beans with seasoning. Going to eat with crusty rolls ;D

You may have just twisted my arm far enough to smoke the 2# of Ground Beef I have in the fridge and make my kind of chili tonight (no beans, onions, or other veggies...seasonings are fine but not actual veggies) with a smoky flavor.

I produce enough Methane to power my house on a daily basis the way it is...don't need any help there. ;D
;D Not fair NePa. :( I'm starving and we just started preparing dinner. Not available for another hour. Your dinner looks wonderful! ;)
You think that's bad...I'm still at work with 2 hours to go before preps for supper will take place.
That looks and sounds great Nepas, a real winter treat! ;)
Looking good Nepas ;D

Just like anything else, chili is what you want it to be......I'd say it ain't chili without Beef. ;D
Impressive as always Nepas. That's gotta try for sure for the ole hillbilly.

I would side with Tiny on this one La Quinta,
Chili is meat with great flavoring from chilies.
Chili with Beans is a whole other aromatic experience and you won't get in the door of contest toting a bag of beans. ;) :-\
Oh come on Giz....beans are a staple...isn't that a guy thing? Think of Blazing Saddles...isn't that every guy's favorite movie??!:) :) I make a mean Jamaican Chilli...all beans...add mutton or lamb when I get a wild hair!!! Hubby loves it!! Even smoked pork or beef!!
Not a bean person per say. Sorry. I will eat chili with beans but would mostly pass on any "chili" that was just beans. I guess I am just not a staple kind of guy.
Pork and Beans are great. Just leave out the beans for me. ::) ;D
La Quinta;
The Jamacian chili sounds great. Can you share that recipe.
Here in the North East generally chili is beans only. Chili con Carne is chili with meat added.

Hey Giz.....Do you remember when you helped me with router stuff for my cam? Well i am going to run a dedicated cat 5 to the garage. Now that would mean that i wouldnt need to open the port again, just have the ip addy for everyone.....Right?

Let me dig up the recipe and I'll post it! I've made it for so long I just wing it now...but the base recipe is really good. Came fron a low fat, low choresterol cookbook somebody gave me about 15 years ago.

In general yes. The IP address needs to be in the DMZ (accessible from the outside) of the router. If you need some additional help, just let me know. You can call me if you want the "Gizmo Wing IT Tech support". ;D Can't beat the price. Let me know if you need my phone number again.
Looks like another recipe to try. Nice work!
