That looks like some pretty wet sticky stuff there NePa. Ah, to be a kid again, snow ball fights, snowmen, and snowforts. O.K. Back to reality. Cold, wet, shoveling, ice chipping, etc.

Thanks! I don't thing the chain link fence adds much to natures beauty, but the fresh snow sure does!
I hear the Kenai is a pretty nice river to be sitting on , Aces n Eights. How's the fishing in the summer/fall?

Oh yeah, good fishin'! The Kenai is one of the main salmon spawning grounds. There is a fish counter at the mouth of the river and this year 850,000 sockeye salmon came up the river. One day there were 65,000 fish past the counter - that's a good day to have a hook in the water! The 2007 count was down from previous years - 2005 had 1.2 mil fish and 2006 had 1.4 mil fish just in this river. And these counts are just sockeye; there are King salmon spawning runs as well.
Aand8 = Really pretty, fence and all.
that is a really nice photo.
