That looks like some pretty wet sticky stuff there NePa.  Ah, to be a kid again, snow ball fights, snowmen, and snowforts.  O.K.  Back to reality.  Cold, wet, shoveling, ice chipping, etc.

The photo taken last night was @ 5"
This morning @ 930am its @ 8"  :o

That picture reminds me of when I used to live in PA.  Don't miss it a bit - slippin' and slidin' all the way to work.

Thanks!  I don't thing the chain link fence adds much to natures beauty, but the fresh snow sure does!

I hear the Kenai is a pretty nice river to be sitting on , Aces n Eights. How's the fishing in the summer/fall?

Oh yeah, good fishin'!  The Kenai is one of the main salmon spawning grounds.  There is a fish counter at the mouth of the river and this year 850,000 sockeye salmon came up the river.  One day there were 65,000 fish past the counter - that's a good day to have a hook in the water!  The 2007 count was down from previous years - 2005 had 1.2 mil fish and 2006 had 1.4 mil fish just in this river.  And these counts are just sockeye; there are King salmon spawning runs as well.
