Title: Wild Hog Smoked Bacon Pinto Beans
Post by: NePaSmoKer on November 19, 2007, 10:34:00 AM
A friend of mine gave me a couple lbs of wild hog bacon last month, So i smoked it up and today i cut up 5 strips into some home made pinto beans  ;D

Beans been simmering for 4 hrs before i added the below seasonings.

Seasoned the beans with adobo, pepper and onions with 2 tblsp of juice from a jar of jalapeno's. When i cook pintos i like to use a clay pot but mine busted  :'(.  So SS pot is the next best thing  ;D

Good with flour tortillas  ;D or corn dodgers  ;D
