Title: NEW KID SAYING HI!
Post by: simko on December 18, 2007, 10:24:31 AM
Hi Everyone, Aaron here, most call me "simko"
Good friend of ours gave me a brand new bradley digital smoker, the 4 shhelf model as a present, he owns an oldre bradley himself.

I really enjoy smoked fish and different types of jerkey.
I live in SW ontario, Canada, andwe have a nice amount of snow on the ground right now. I plan on using this smoker outdoors, so iw as thinking of building a small wooden platform to get this thing off the ground when i use it.

I really plan on using this smoker to make:
Beef Jerky
Salmon Jerky
Smoked Salmon fillets
Smoked Rainbow trout fillets
Pickerel fillets smoked up?

Still trying to get the idea of how this thing works, also wondering if anyone has any good recipes for a smoked beef jerky?

Ill try to stay pretty active on these forums, and look forward to hearing from everyone and their unpit, wish me luck!
-aaron

Welcome to the forum simko.  Lots of fish and jerky experts on here.  They should be along shortly.  I primarily do butts, ribs, and briskets myself.
