Post by: NePaSmoKer on December 22, 2007, 03:39:49 PM
Doing some pork for carnitas. Smoked for 1hr @200, 2 hickory & 1 mesquite puck. Put salsa verde in for some oven time then will shred it.

Damn.  I wanted chicken chile verde tonight, and now I see the carnitas.  Good luck with the meal and have one for me.

I couldn't take it anymore!!! I threw this in the smoker for 40 minutes and it is now in the oven. I am following Nepas recipe. I wasn't sure on the amount of spices but it smells great.

You can't go wrong with a recipe that combines pork and beer!
