Title: The Bradley House under construction.
Post by: iceman on December 28, 2007, 12:03:56 PM
Well I'm finally getting far enough along to get a few pictures of the new smoke house.
Winter sort of put a stop to the outside work but at least I can finish the inside enough to start smoking again. There is a three door smoker, a two door smoker and of couse the Bradley OBS in the middle. I have two gas fired smokers behind the shed. The sinks and stoves will go on the opposite wall after spring when I can dig up the ground to run piping.

I think you should send a prototype down to "Wild Wonderful" West Virginia for field testing in this area. I would gladly furnish a review of my findings and promise to promote Goose Bay Sauces and Rubs with a hand painted signed nailed to the front.

HOLY COW!  Are you kidding me?!  That is fabulous.  Kind of makes my little 4 rack DBS sitting on the screened in porch pale in comparison.  Congrats on your hard work Ice.

I do see keys in some of the doors.

Awesome, and consistent with my motto: excess is not enough    8)

My oh my, that is a setup and a half.  I thought I'd have to get to heaven first to see that kind of kit.  Just out of curiosity Pat, how much meat do you smoke a month?  Looks like a full time job and then some.  Please post more pix as the project progresses.  My drool buckets are overflowing.

There is a three foot by sixteen foot hood up above the smokers. The fan has a speed control also.

Very, very nice Ice!

You will have to keep us posted on this project. I've been contemplating building a smoker for my garage setup but I haven't come up with a plan as yet. I absolutely love you big smokers and setup!  8)

I resisted posting because I want one.  Heck, add a pool table, a dart board and some adult beverage appliances.  And a room for me.

Iceman,

Please be careful. I do not want this to happening to you after leaving your smokehouse. The bears will love the way you smell.

Damn Ice!!!  One heck of a setup you got there....I don't imagine you've ever had the need to have all three going at once have you?

I actually do sometimes during hunting and fishing season. A whole group of us get together and get everything done at once. Sausage, jerky, salmon and of course some butts to munch on the next day while packaging everything up. A lot of work but a lot more fun.
