Well, this is my last week at my full time job I have had for over 12 years. My first day as a full time employee of The Yard and Pool Company will be Monday. Feb. 4th. We have been running our business on a part time basis for 3 years now and it is at the point where we need to take a chance and hopefully turn it into what we think we can.
Myself and one of my partners will be full time while the 3rd is remaining at his job until the company can support him also. So starting the 4th we will be available in the office whenever you need us from 8-5 EST. Give us a call even if its just to chat, it will be nice just to hear the phone ring...lol.
I want to THANK the members of this forum very much because you are a huge reason why we are taking a step in this direction. Everyone has been great and I hope this will only increase the level of customer service we try and offer every customer.
This is a nervous and exciting venture considering I have an 8 month old at home but I haven't been this excited about going to work in a long time.
Thanks again everyone, you all are the best!!!
Bryan
Good luck Bryan! I need to order another Bubba puck, two works, but I want that third one so I don't have to use a puck as the final pusher. Also need some of the Jerky screens I think they are called. Will visit the website. Anyway, Good luck again!!

Congrats on taking the plunge Bryan! :) I'm sure that you will do just fine. I'm still looking for a job, so keep me in mind down the road. Of couse I'll require relocation expenses.:D
Best of luck Bryan on your leap of faith.
Good Luck Bryan.
I've owned my own business for 18 years now. It is a little nerve racking at first but through hard work you will be successful. Especially when you add to the fact you already have the first 3 years in while maintaining your other job.
I have complete confidence you will be successful.
Good luck & have fun.
Mike
Good Luck Bryan. It may be a little risky, but I am confident that your perseverance will pay off.

Wishing you guys the best. Just remember not to complain about the boss too much. :)
Welcome to the world of having your future in your own hands. You must be doing okay so far to have the opportunity to do this full time, so don't look back.
Good luck Bryan. :)
Best wishes on this venture. The opportunity is there so you have to go for it or you'll be full of what ifs.
We wish you the best Bryan.

Great luck to you! You guys are the place I get my pucks, and were I got my SSBS and I couldn't be happier with your service!
Thanks for the kind words everyone. My last day at my old job is tomorrow. The nervousness is starting to set in but I couldn't be happier right now.
Thanks again!
Bryan,
Having dealt with you on my first Bradley and you taking care of me with my fire-damaged one, it has become rather apparent to me you don't need luck. Your customer service has made luck a non-factor in the equation in my humble opinion.
Now, if I can just get mine to turn around a little :'(
You'll do great!
Marc

In keeping with the above posting I will share with you that over the years I've been told that I'm lucky. The fact of the matter is the definition of my luck is when my preparation meets the customer's needs. I got a feeling from the above posting that this is your definition as well.
With that said I will not wish you luck as I know you will make your own.
My best to you and yours,
Raye
I have placed on order with Yard and Pool and will place more. I echo the experiences above ... stay true to your dream and it will be fine.
Go get'em Bryan ! When you put your best foot foward , yhe other one will usually follow. ;)
Congarats and good luck ,
Doug (coyote)
Good luck Bryan, I have passed more people your way, luckily your pretty local to us. My Boss just bought an outfit from you last week and I am building his temp controller now. He's hooked on smoke food as many others I know.
again, Good luck and see you around.
