All, sorry I have not been around much posting and interacting with you all.
My father-in-law recently passed away fighting Lung Cancer, he was diagnosed this last July 2007 and passed away January 30th, 2008. He is the person who hooked me on the Bradly Smoker and was part of all our lives. He was a constant lurker on the boards and loved the interaction we all had hear but never posted. Since his diagnosis cam in I took it easy here as reading the boards was one of his daily things since retiring several years ago, and his inability to use his smoker was tearing him apart.
With him gone we will re-build and move forward. His Widow, my mother-in-law has decided to keep the SS Original smoker (I am not sure she will keep the Propane one, maybe not since I still have mine), and I can teach her what she already does not know (not much to explain). She is also an avid fan of the forum and I hope one day she will also get an account and share her experiences. Lots to do before we get there, but we can only take each day and each week one at a time.
I will be back posting again more starting now, time to move on.
My condolences to you and your family. Glad to see you back too.
My heart is with you and your family.....The time your family has shared together
will become great memories to be shared for generations to come.

Thank you for all the well wishes. We are plowing forward with life and what the next stage means. We are planning a Celebration of Life event sometime soon, the idea is to Celebrate what good things in life for all of us has come and is gone but still is in our hearts. For us here in this group I say we celebrate this Saturday (2/16/08) all who want raise a glass of your favorite Bourbon, Henry's was good old Jack Daniels and celebrate good times and good friends. I will try to get into the the Chat Board and be there as I drink a Bourbon (I will use some Knobb Creek) and enjoy good times.

I think I'll have to bring out the Blanton's. Cheers to life and all who make it more enjoyable.
I'm not a Bourbon drinker but by gosh I will have a shot of Jack Saturday! Here's to good times and good friends.
Sounds rather Gentleman-ly of you Ice.
Cheers IKW,
It is the tough times that provides us with the joy and memories of the good times. May we all have the strength and appreciation to deal with both.

My celebration
I was out (even out of town once) on Saturday night, so didn't get into the chat room, but I made sure I had a drink with Bourbon in it when we went to supper....lucky I even got that one as I only had one drink and emptied the bottle at the bar...and they didn't have a spare.
May God bless and comfort you and your family. When you're feeling up to it, fire up that Bradley and send some smoke his way. He'll appreciate it.
