Title: Temp Questions
Post by: dscarry on February 12, 2008, 06:30:16 PM
There are a lot of posts here regarding temps. Are the temps listed for recipes typically based on what's shown on the unit or with thermometers place in the BS? I found that the display temp is about 20 degress off.

As stated on here many times before, don't rely on the display temps shown on your digital unit. The recipe temps should be measured from a reliable thermometer such as a Maverick ET-73 or similar device. Welcome to the forum, good luck, and please ask for help if you need it. That's what the forum is for! :)

Welcome aboard.  I would like to echo what Ontrack said.
