Title: Auber PID - damage with being frozen?
Post by: smokin stu on February 26, 2008, 05:53:53 PM
I have left my PID outside with my ssmoker in its shack all winter.  I know the PID probably won't work well as its below freezing.  My question is, do you think its damaging the unit just sitting there at those temps?

I really prefer to leave it outside.  My garage is no warmer.

Well, mine works fine and it's spent all winter out in my shed/enclosure...had some -20* F nights too.
