Title: Morton Hot Salt
Post by: iceman on March 24, 2008, 04:28:13 PM
Has anyone used hot salt before? I found some real nice recipes that call for Morton Hot Salt but I can't find it up here. I'm just wondering what's in it and how spicy hot it really is so I can try to duplicate it.

I had never heard of it before Ice! I looked it up on their web site. Here's the link.

Never heard of it either, but I'm guessing Iceman's rub and sea salt would be just as good or better ;)...

I like the stuff.  I use it often - essentially salt and ground chipotles with a nice burn / flavor.
