Ok, bought the 4 rack digital smoker and did a few hamburgers just to try it out and these were great.  Did a deer roast and it wasn't so good.  Talked to a couple of buddies that said I needed to wrap a brisket in foil after its smoked for a couple of hours, but the book says don't use foil to line racks.  Does this also mean not to wrap a brisket for the last couple of hours.  I need to know.....Thanks

muzzleblast525,

Welcome to the forum. No problem wrapping your roast in foil after smoking. The directions in the manual are about lining the racks with foil, which would block the heat and drippings. You should be good to go.......

Is .525 the caliber?

525, Oh No!  Not a caliber for sure, kinda recoil sensitive.....It was my badge number, before we changed again.  Thanks for the info.....I'm ready to get this thing fired up and going.....Bob
