Title: Baby back ribs and turkey legs
Post by: renvette on April 18, 2008, 12:17:40 PM
Anyone know if it is ok to smoke turkey legs and baby back ribs at the same time?  If yes, please help with the temp, time and meat placement.

Sure. They will probably not both be done at the same time, you would need to monitor the internal temp of both meats. If it was me, I would put the ribs on top. I think I would rather have the ribs dripping on the Turkey legs than then Turkey legs dripping on the Ribs. I think there would be more moisture in the Turkey legs anyway.

Temp - I take my Turkey Legs to 160. Ribs - baby backs are a tough call. I run them until the bones move easily.
