Title: Jerky - Vac seal to cure
Post by: FLBentRider on April 24, 2008, 04:28:21 PM
Anyone ever use the vacuum cannisters to put a vacuum on jerky meat while it is in the cure ?

I'm trying it - not to save time, just to test...

I have not done so, but I do use vac cannisters to marinate beef steaks.  This method requires less time in the marinating stage.

I've used my Revo to marinate Jerky, it works great.
