Only thing that has not yet come in is the new boot for the top when it is down. Also I have to re-finish the knob on the stick shift to match the new steering wheel.
BTW it has one really nice sound system in it now. I cannot wait till next year when I finish it. But Momma gets a new kitchen first.

That is a thing of beauty Olds. ;)

Thanks... one thing for sure when I take it out a lot of folks stop and talk with me.
Oh one of the thing we will do next year is to Supercharge it. In the image below the twin carburaters have been removed and the supercharger is on the right of the engine. This thing has a whole (LOL) 1275 cc engine. But she will move... been 105 mph more than one time. They tell me I will double the break horse power once I add the supercharger.

I will also add two roll bars and have it re-painted.
Oldman that is an awesome looking machine!!!
Beautiful! I remember a buddy of mine in high school had one of those it was a blast to zip around in! I also remember I barely fit into it, being 6' 5'' :)

The getting in is the easy part. It is the getting out without tearing off the windsheild that is tough. A friend of mine is 6'4" and when he goes to get out he lays out the door and pulls himself out with his hands.

Thank you!

Olds,
That is one sweet looking machine. You do MG's, earthboxes, upside-down tomaters, etc. Is there anything you can't do? ;D
I'm glad you got it tho. If I had something like that, I'd be dead within a week.........but what a sweet week it would be ;)

That is one sweet clean looking ride Olds, but re-painted? Shoot I thought it was already!!!!
I agree, with the Mrs, need the new kitchen first. ;) They are joy as well.
Olds,
That is one sweet Midget. Congratulations on getting it back. It's fun to take them out and turn a few heads. I have a 1936 Ford Phaeton street rod.
Nice ride Olds!

Cool car. For some reason, I was expecting Red though. My toys aren't quite that nice...'96 Dodge Ram, '81 Honda Goldwing, and a '93 Flatbed Trailer (20' long).
Nice lookin' ride Olds!
I like the "Smoke Generator" (the blower)
;D

Olds,
My ride can't compare to yours. Supercharger? Just 327 Chevy with Edelbrock manifold, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and headers in a really heavy car in mine. You would so smoke me but we would both have a good time cruising on a Sunday afternoon! ;D
KyNola
Very Very nice Olds,,, zoom - zoom time... :D Be careful! WCK

That is one beautiful car Raye, and you have certainly done it justice in restoring it..... SUPERB! :)
When I first started working my boss had an identical (right hand drive) car, same colour too. I used to get a lift home most days from him and at 6ft 6ins tall I can certainly confirm the comments about trying to fit in such a car!
Don't see many of them around nowadays, even on this side of the pond.

Ya this is a shame--as as these cars are much fun to drive. You know in a MGA I think you would fit well in those. Now I think the last year they made an "A" was 1960. Over here you can drop 25-30K in one that is just a body and frame...no engine, trans or interior. The really nice ones hit a 100K plus.... really out of my league as Susan would beat me senseless if I was to try and resort one of those.
Now you know why for the first time in my life I'm real PROUD to be only 5'8" tall... Heh he he ~~! Getting in the Midget is easy... getting out is somewhat more work. At 6'6" we would have to tie a rope under and around your arms and pull you out of it.
