I love spareribs but I just have a heck of a time finding good meaty ones where I live. I Finally saw some at my local grocery store that looked great.....and were on sale. I did the mustard slather I've read about, then a mop and foil wrap at 4 hours and the final sauce and FTC. These spareribs turned out fantastic. I used 9 hickory and cooked at 215F for about 6 hours total time. They were a hit......

Great job Mike!!! I might have to break for an early lunch now. :P ;D
Looks great!
I'm glad I brought pulled pork for lunch today....
Man MWS...they look killer good!!
Looks like part of a delicious dinner. But like the complete breakfast (juice, toast, milk, and Trix), what rounded out the liquid portion of the food groups?

Come on Consig......a good quantity of IPA of coarse ;) Homebrewed I might add.
I figured. Just testing.
I'm overdue on a brewing session, but it will be getting pretty hot out here soon. Probably will wait until Sept for better fermentation/aging. Also, I hear hops are getting pretty expensive (might as well be made of gasoline).
If you run low on IPA, see if you can find some Liberty Ale, made by Anchor Brewery, San Francisco. Not truly an IPA, but very pronounced hop flavor. Probably my favorite commercially available beer.

Cheers, I'll look for Liberty Ale when I'm in Astoria Oregon next month. I brewed a large amount of ale for the same reason, warmer temps mess with fermentation. Now I have a boatload of ale which is always too handy. Never lasts as long as it should. ;) ;D
The last few last longer than the majority of the boatload. Kind of like the last bit of water out of a leaky bucket. I guess beer is a fluid and there's no reason why that property shouldn't apply. (Didn't remember the physics, but Google tells me it's Bernoulli's Priniple).
I like boatloads of anything!!! Beer especially!! And jerky...and...and...
