That does sound like a good seasoning to play with.

I picked up some of that pepper/worcestershire combo myself last month....haven't tried it on anything yet.  I'd like to know what you think of it.

I've seen that in store, but decided to make my own, since I have Worcestershire powder. That's a good idea, using it as a rub.

If they have that in the store, look for McCormick black smoked ground pepper. That is also good. I tried duplicating it by smoking my own peppercorns, but didn't come close to getting the flavor that McCormick has. When I get a chance I will attempt it again.

SD,

Obviously I'm not Habs - but I saw it here:     http://www.alliedkenco.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/1306  .  I found this place from this forum.   I just received an order from them yesterday, first order from them but no problems.

Perfect!!  I just bought a Beer Can Chix stand last weekend.  Now I've just got to find this spice blend up hear in the Great White North and I'm ready to go for my weekend project.

Looks great Nepa.

I have not tried the beer can chix yet. I'll have to make a can holder at work and give it a try.

I purchased mine from Spice Barn. I had to order some New Mexico chile powder, and couldn't justify paying all the delivery charges for one product, so I purchase Worcestershire powder and a few others. I generally order from Penzy's, but if they don't have what I'm looking for I order from Spice Barn. They ship quickly.

I have ordered Worcestershire Powder from Spice Barn and Rocky Mountain Spice Company.  The second order was from Rocky Mountain as they had it in larger quantities and lower price (at the time).

You need to keep the powder in a container that is absolutely air tight.  This stuff absorbs air moisture like the desert and with just a hint of moisture will turn rock hard which is not good if you plan to sprinkle it on some meat.  Mixes will harden with it as well so they need to be tightly sealed as well.  Giving a rough guess, the powder can harden within 30 minutes of exposure to air.  Of course if you in the desert, it might take longer.  In the south in summer, I might harden in 30 seconds but then I suspect would liquify about 5 minutes after that.   ;D

Sounds like the Viagra is working but not too long?   :o :o ;D ;D

Sometimes I just love typos (sorry Giz, not trying to make fun but the typing made me giggle)
