Title: STOCKING RECOMMENDATIONS (FRED'S MUSIC AND BBQ SUPPLY)
Post by: SmokinGuitarPlayer on July 01, 2008, 11:32:00 AM
Hello all.

I am ready to place my opening / stocking order for the Bradley smokers and supplies / etc for our local showroom and web store. Can I ask everybody what model is selling the most? ...the most desireable... in your opinion...It looks to me, by my preference / taste / etc. that the digital 4 rack is the one to get / bang for the buck etc.... please tell me which ones you think I will be selling the most / etc. Thanks ... very much appreciated in advance.

Fred B. / SmokinGP

PS if anybody wants to give me recommendations on what supplies / accessories / etc .to stock I would appreciate any help, thanks

Well, Fred the door's wide open on that one! The original BDS seems to reign with Amazon selling at $289.96 with free shipping. The DBS 4 rack which I have is very nice, but I did not like the 9:40 hour cook limit on the timer. If I was getting into the Bradley biz I would probably put together a sweet package with the original Bradley, a simple plug and play PID like the Auber, a Maverick ET-73, a 3 pack of
Bubba pucks and a sampling of the populer bisquettes like Hickory, Maple and Mesquite. Throw in a cover and a guy is ready to smoke!
The only thing your losing is the smoke timer on the digital that most don't seem too concerned with.

I spent a good deal of time on the forum and have established sellers that have great service, pick up the phone and call help. My choice was Yard and Pool. Be advised om some tough competition.
