Title: Crispy Chicken
Post by: philmiller on July 22, 2008, 09:05:22 AM
Hello All

I am new to using the BS.  I frequently cook chickens on a gas barbecue rotisserie using an infrared heat source.  The skins are always very crispy and nice.

I am wondering if anyone has smoked the chicken and then finished on a barbecue.

Thanks

Welcome to the fourum phil!

Most definitely you can smoke and then cook on the grill!  If I have the grill up and going with something else that is what I do, if the grill isn't going I pop it into the broiler for just a bit to give it a nice crsip!  Chicken is quite forgiving, you'll do great!  And once again welcome, lots of fine folks here!

I agree with WesTexaSmoker, it is hard to break chicken!
