Should be no problem as long as you keep it covered.

Effec,

has had my obs outside for 2  years and covered when not in use and is holding up quite well, minor discoloration from use and elements .. no rust that i can see and runs   like a timex...

takes a lickin and keeps on ticking he he he ..

I do have it  under the eves on a shelving  unit and its covered with a tarp from the eves to the ground  when not in use  which helps to keep it  clean though it  will  never bbe  new

I've had mine outside for more then 4 years on an open deck with just the Bradley cover. I've had no problems with it, except I had to replace the front face plate, and that was not weather related.
