How do I insert pictures or these little smiley guys into my postings; I just get words when I try to drag one or insert a picture

Fl has you covered for the pictures. For the smileys you just put your cursor where you want it, then click on the smiley you want. Just make sure you have a space before and after the smiley. Also if you "Preview" you should be able to make sure it looks the way you want it to.
