Title: pid controller
Post by: ollavac_j on December 06, 2008, 06:12:00 PM
I have a question about the pid controller.  So does that devise override the smoke generators temperture controller?

Thanks,
John

No - nor do you want it to.  The smoke generator needs to be hot enough to make smoke.  The PID does, however, control the heating element in the back of the cabinet.  ;)

Yeah I need to get one of those.  The stock digital temperture guage sucks pretty bad.  I can't tell what temperture is what with that thing.  I just ordered one of those Maverick ET-73's too.  Can't wait until it comes...
