Title: Beef jerky anyone?
Post by: nickld on December 15, 2008, 08:15:45 PM
Just pulled this from the dehydrator:

Just a sample from the batch I'm drying today.  The rest will come out as it finishes. This was done with liquid smoke in the marinade and went straight to the dehydrator after marinating overnight. Hope to cold smoke some in the OBS for a couple hours soon, then move to the dehydrator.

Cheers!

Yikes Nik, that looks good, Jerky is on my list, but have to get a dehydrator first. Smoke On!

You dont need a dehydrater, just use your bradley.I make beef and deer jerky all the time and mine comes out perfect, just takes a little longer in the smoker.

Do you have a recipe for those of us without a dehydrator?
