OK folks... Who has used them and what did you smoke with them?
I tried them along with apple (1 to 1 ratio) on some turkeys yesterday. WOW!!!
Did a couple of cold smoked rib eyes and put them in the fridge for tonight on the grill.
Let us know whatcha did. :)
Hey Ice.....hope your Christmas went well. I know you're real busy with work..........good to see you posting when you get a chance!

I have them, but haven't used them yet. I was temped to use them to smoke a ham, but didn't. Sounds like I should have.
I have no place local to buy pucks so I can only get some next time I place an order. I'm good for now so it will be interesting to see what everyone else thinks of them before I place my next order.
Nice hearing from you Pat, hope you had a great Xmas.

I have them as well and was waiting until I did some pulled pork. I'll bet the smell is intoxicating ;)

I am planning on using then for my new years eve smoke. Beef Roast and a couple of Sams briskets, Jan's rub and 4 hours of Jim Beam Oak Bisquettes.
Pros: Well formed pucks. No saw dust.
Cons: To strong for my taste on a brisket. (I'm sure there will be other who like the stronger taste.)
After this brisket with JB I will go back to adler / oak mixture for my briskets.
Perhaps on a Double Smoked Ham the JB will shine. I will be doing one for New Years. I will post my thoughts concerning this matter then.
