A number of years back we had to kick in "tough love." We took Mother's car away from her. Almost monthly we hear.... I want a car... bla bla bla... etc.
So this year we purchased for Mother a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

Need I say more?
Ya I know I'm a bad man...
Olds
Now that's BAD! ;) :D
Has she taken it for a test drive yet? ::)
Oh, Olds, as having been a recipent of said prank when I turned 16 and wanted a car in the worst way, my folks did the same. That bad memory has been stored for many years and when it comes time to pick a nursing home, it will be released ;D I will also be sure to assume power of attorney at that time so that the will can't be changed either ;D
Some day you may inherit it. Smart thinking.
The look on your mother's face gives me the impression she is thinking; "Yeah! Real funny. You won't be laughing when I trade this in on a bigger model". :)
I get the feeling she's thinking "Smart Ass"! ;D
I just hope her latest read isn't "50 ways to kill your son (who just bought me a dumb model car) and not get caught!
