Post by: mg51 on January 03, 2009, 07:02:10 AM
I am new to smoking (i just got one) and I want to smoke a turkey breast.  it is about 5.75 lbs cut in half.  how long do i smoke it and cook it and at what temp. do i do it at.  i cant seem to find any info on temps and cooking times for anything(meat, chese, fish, ribs etc.).  any help would be appreciated.

As far as the turkey breast - I would smoke it @ 200F with no more than 4 hours smoke ( start at 2 hours until you see how smoky you like it) and continue to cook until the breast has an IT of 165F
