Sweet Jesus, that is totally insane!!  And I thought we came up with some "bad for you" recipes but that one totally takes the cake.  I'll bet that bad boy is great.  If someone here makes one, please post the results before they take you to cardiac care.  Would love to hear about it.  Mmmm bacon!

I think that the loose weave of the bacon actually allows all the cholesterol fall out so it's probably pretty healthy...... ::) (One bite couldn't hurt THAT bad....especially with my cardiologist on retainer!)

Sorry no camera yet for pictures.

It was Wonderful!!!!!!!!  I did not put the BBQ sauce on the outside which was a good thing

in my opinon, everyone that ate it agreed that would have been to much sauce. The sauce

layer inside was a pretty light drizzle of sauce also. I will be making this again that is for sure!!

Also I used regular sausage as I am the only one in the household that likes Italian sausage.

That's why you wait until after you have your blood draw and then only a small sample and give the rest away at work.

Ok I had to try this.
Its not as pretty as the one on here but the taste is really good

I had to tie it with some string to keep it from falling apart.
(http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f171/1smokie43/Bacon%20Roll/th_IMG_0363.jpg) (http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f171/1smokie43/Bacon%20Roll/?action=view&current=IMG_0363.jpg)
(http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f171/1smokie43/Bacon%20Roll/th_IMG_0365.jpg) (http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f171/1smokie43/Bacon%20Roll/?action=view&current=IMG_0365.jpg)
If i was to do this again which i will i would use regular cut bacon not thick cut like i did here.

Can never have enough bacon!  ;D

Hmmm maybe make up the basket weave and wrap some habs canadian bacon with it? Or would that be going too far? Course we would have to squeese in some buckboard bacon to round it off.  ;D

'Triple B Wrap'.... belly, back & buckboard. Glad my doc doesn't visit this site.  ::)

Kinda the pork version of a turducken.

Thanks Guys

In the middle is an Italian & Pork sausage mix and of coarse more bacon
Smoked it for 4 hours with maple then cooked at 230F until core temp was 165F. Total it took about 5 hrs
I fried some up for breakfast this morning even better than yesterday.
