When you brought them in from the smoker, did you soak them in buttermilk or anything before battering them?

WTS, WOW, what else can be said! Smoked onion rings? That just has to be good! We do smoke onions and ground chuck for chili on almost a weekly basis but never thought of onion rings. Nice work!
