Title: Happy Valentines Day
Post by: NePaSmoKer on February 13, 2009, 02:47:36 PM
My wife made a nice Valentines cake for one of her customers today. I printed the heart image onto edible icing sheet for her. It turned out pretty nice. She prints images with a Canon printer and food coloring inks just made for cakes.

Nepas,

I was wondering how they make the cakes because the graphics can be very good.

I just read about those edible icing sheets....they are kool!!! (Sorry if I'm behind)....you can put them on the bottom as well (if you wanted to do an upside down cake) ...they are very interesting!

Very nice NePa.
The Editable Icing has been around for quite some time.  I created a graphic for my daughter's 16th birthday (a good 10 years ago) and gave the picture file to a Dairy Queen and they made the cake.  The picture was a collage of pictures of her growing up.
