Title: Boys weekend
Post by: lumpy on February 14, 2009, 09:02:59 AM
Hey guys (and gals)
My wife will be out of town for a week and I'm having the boys over for a carnivor cornacopia ;D.
Can I start smoking all of the following at the same time?
3 butt roasts and 10 LB brisket.
I'm thinking of doing the pulled pork the day before and just warm it up to make things easier for me and try and time the brisket including the FTC when the boys arrive.
I will also smoke 6 racks of ribs......not sure about timing them (6 hours for sure, I might also do them the day before and warm up in the oven) and of course lots of ABT's, which I will start 2 hours before arrival.

Any comments or suggestions would be appriciated

Oh yeah.forgot about the sausage that I'm also making from scratch, but that will be bbq's and not smoked.
I'm starting to drool just thinking about this :P

Lumpy... Sounds like a feast fit for Kings!  8)

I agree with you on doing some of it in advance so your not pulling your hair out trying to get everything ready.

Keep us posted...

Better make some coffee for the guys.  That's going to be one big food coma.

Lumpy, this sounds great!  By the way, did you get a chance to try those pickled eggs?
