Title: Engineers need to look at this ...What is this??
Post by: Gman on February 14, 2009, 11:50:02 AM
I want to first say Hi to everyone on the forum I have been gone for quite sometime.
I have a problem I neeed solved and decided to go to this forum because I have seen some very inteligent Members here.

So here is what I have and at the end is a few images.

I found this a few years ago and would realy like to knlw what it is? It has Rollcom and a # etched in the side and top piece. The machining of this is amazing I ttook it to a friend who sells Rolled tubing and he said the machining on this is very precise. It has zero tolerance as to all measurements inside and out. Inside the tail piece has a concave exit for something to exit there are 2 holes on the outside across from each other to put some sort of tool to tighten  and loosen (or open ) .  The threads to screw pieces together are very tight . Back end or tail has a seal and all the holes are drilled at an angle so as to have thrust in a spirel mothin for whatever is going to exit it under presure

It looks to be Stainless Steel and high pressure. I have a friend who looked at these pics and he thinks it might be used in something with pasteurization/homogenizing process. He works with a company that does allot of that kind of stuff.

All Kidding aside it does look like a homemade aerial bomb droplet as part of a cluster bomb. Missing the primer and the explosive.

Other than that WAY Outside the box guess I don't have a clue.
