I looked at the 4 rack today that is the only one I can find around here in Texas. It just looks so little inside I like to cook big briskets and turkey. 10 and 11 lbs. Is it big enough for that..
Thanks ;D
you could easily fit a couple 12 lbs turkeys in there. you could do a nice size brisket just make sure it fits on a rack and your good to go
Thank You I think I'm going to buy it tomorrow

Nascarbbq,
Like everybody else says - you won't look back! I did a 13# brisket in the 4 rack about 3 or 4 weeks ago. No problem. This was a wide one rather than a long one, but even if you get a long one, cut a little off and smoke it separately - a little extra for the cook! BTW - there was also a couple of boneless butts and a fattie or two in along with the brisket!

Just got my 6 rack and it looks small also. I usually smoke 25-30 pounds of Kielbasa at a time. It's going to be interesting when I do it. First thing I asked the rep. at Bradley was "What's the diameter of the vent?" she said 4". It's not 4" and wide open it only has the volume of a 2" vent. That's going first putting a 4" chimney vent on.
Well I did it. OK when the wife kicks me out can I stay with one of y'all

Once you serve her a few great meals out of it you'll be there for life! ;)

Here is a link on how one member smokes four 8 pound briskets at once, though he has the 6 rack; I'm sure the four rack you could fit three.

Good point DrtBird!
Shhh... That's a secret! :D
Mike
Yeah, Don't let know how easy it is...
Nascar,
Remember..., when smoking it is very important to keep all non-essential personnel away from the Bradley. (This way they can't see how easy it is!!!) This also provides the opportunity to enjoy a bit of "Barley Soup", or whatever other adult beverage that you might like to partake in ;D.
You fix the Mrs. a few decent meals with this delectable device, and you'll be golden.
Good Luck, and let us know how you make out.
