Hello all , Andy here. A total newbie/virgin to the world of smoking (need to do something with my half a moose that is taking up a lot osf space in my freezer!!!). Never owned or been near a smoker in use.
Bought my OBS about two weeks ago and I am hopefully going to be doing my first session of smoking this weekend. (the weather is forecasted to be warmer than average).
I am (hopefully) starting with something reasonably easy making ground moose jerky and sausages.
I have the jerky gun, spice mix and some special blend bisquettes ready to go.

Been lurking around for a couple of weeks and its great to see so many of you shareing recipes, tips and secrets.

Let me be the first to offer my expertise to your problem. You can ship to me as much of that moose as you can pry out of that freezer. I'd be happy to relive you of that burden. :D

I suspect you will be putting a pretty good dent in that problem yourself shortly.

You guys need to check your dates. This was from FEB last year and he hasn't been on since the 25th of sept. 09. Hopefully he will comeback.
