Title: New to sausages
Post by: thegozzzz on February 25, 2009, 08:38:09 PM
Even though I'm fairly new to the forum, I've owned my OBS for 3 or 4 years. I've smoked for a few years, have an OBS, DBS6, PID plus other smokers. I love sausage and have always wanted to make them myself.

I just received my new meat grinder and sausage stuffer from Northern, and I'm ready to go. Can you folks recommend a fairly easy sausage and recipe for my first batch?

Here is a beef stick recipe that is real easy and is a good starter that will lead to many more things.

Thanks Giz, that's kind of what I was thinking. Everybody loves beef sticks.

There are lots more sausage recipies on that site as well.  Many books out there as well.  Let us know if you need the book list.  It is scattered here in many places.
