Pens, Nepa.  Our about 15", we had snow almost for 24 hrs straight.  Made up for years of a snow drought.

I grew up in Norther New Mexico at the base of the Rockies in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range.  Snow was a regular for us, as was cold.  Snows like this were normal.  heavier usual.  I grew up and moved to the East Coast.  We used to be ok with Snow, not as much but ok.  But the last few years have been bad for snow.  We saw the climitalogical issue first hand.  Then after learning more about the patterns and influences of other forces and such.  I was happy when I learned a few weeks ago things were changing.  I was happy this morning.  Still am.

IKW, very pretty little tree.

We do miss seasons, especially pretty snows and thunder storms.

The roses have started to releaf and a couple of buds on one.
