Title: Popeyes' Fried Chicken site
Post by: Oldman on March 08, 2009, 06:55:11 PM
Popeyes' Fried Chicken site... some areas have a coupon. My area has 8 pieces dark for $6.99.  Funny we got two breast in our mixture.  Dang good fried chicken in my area.

Check out your area:

It's a far cry better than KY and I love the little popcorn shrimp. The rice they have is pretty tasy too. I forgot what they call it.

Only time I get Popeyes is when I'm on the road for work. None to be found anywhere around here.  :(

I often see their commercials, but I don't believe there is any in my area either.

Habs,

I have seen the commercials around here also which is strange because there isn't a big presence.  I have never been but I think there is one in the truck stop at exit 28 off of 84.

Guess, I'm going to have to try the chicken.  I've tried a couple of their other items, like tenders and shrimp, and was not impressed this time around.  When they first came to Nashvegas, they were awesome, but they lost something in their long absence - but then again, it may have just been an off day.  I sure do miss Lee's Famous Recipe!  Now that we have more sun later into the evening, I can start going to the wrong side of town again to get some "hot chicken" again.

Next time I am in that area I'll look for it. I tried the store locator, by typing in my New York zip code twice and both times I got a message that there are no stores near that zip code in California. ???

Oldman, Scott and I love Popeye's chicken.  However, they tried twice in this area to make a go of it, and both times it went belly up.
Enjoy some chicken and red beans and rice for us, ok?

Popeyes is awesome. There is one about 25 miles from us. We frequent popeyes allot when we go down south. And Zaxby's chicken.
