Title: WARNING!!! Beware of unsolicited PMs
Post by: ExpatCanadian on April 08, 2009, 04:40:58 AM
All,

I'm also a member of the BBQ Source Forums located
here, (http://www.bbqsource-forums.com/invboard/index.php) and have just received a strange PM from a new member called "mignulikz" with a web link that simply says "PLEASE HELP" and points to a website called "iefa.ru".  I of course did not click on it, but Googled it and it comes up as an adult oriented website located in Russia.  I did a bit more research and found the following on Yahoo:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090407204137AALllP7 (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090407204137AALllP7)

I don't know if anyone here yet has experienced this, but I thought it might be worth putting up a sticky post with a warning to ensure that if it does happen, nobody gets caught out by it.

Appears that this is happening on other forums also.  But not same site though.  I got one from a fly tying  board I have never posted on before in addition to the one here.  I know it is not PC, but I'd love to strangle those hacks that do that and all this other crap that is perpetrated on computer users!
