Title: Stand for the Bradley
Post by: SemperFiPhil on April 19, 2009, 11:22:30 AM
First off... thanks for all the replies on my previous post.  You all make this  so easy.  I do know that I am getting the 4 rack smoker.  I would like to sit this on something so it is easier to access.  What I am thinking is a short wooden table with bricks on the top to protect from any heat.  Any other ideas or suggestions?

I simply have mine on a 5 foot fold up table I got from Sam's.  Plastic with metal legs.  No heat problems from the botom of the smoker.

SP,
You won't need the bricks as the tabletop will not get hot.  The Bradley is well insulated.  I purchased a metal cart at Sam's Club for $58.00.  You put it together.  Comes with locking casters.  Good sturdy cart.  One tip, if you purchase it, you need to install the top shelf as the second or third shelf and install one of the other shelves as the top shelf as the intended top shelf has a lip that will prevent the door on the smoker from opening.
