Title: Recipe for Disney World Turkey Legs
Post by: et on September 01, 2009, 09:42:58 AM
I just got a BPS last month, and I am new to smoking. My wife loves the smoked turkey legs she had at Disney World. I would like to smoke some for her, but I have no clue how to do it. Does anyone have a recipe they would share for the Disney World turkey legs. I have checked the recipe forum, but did not find a Recipe there.

I have tried to replicate those legs with some success..

The first problem I had is that I could not find legs that big.

I don't have an exact recipe handy, I would try this one:

I can assure you, that one was a hit.  I've used that same buttermilk brine on chicken wings/drummies a few times, and they vanish quickly..

We even tried it on some cubed pork loin.   Tasted good, but looked very strange.

Thanks for the recipe. Sure will be trying this. Maybe with some yard bird legs.
