Title: Water Bowl Needed?

I dawned on me that the water bowl may not be needed after you are done with the smoke.  On a butt, 12 hrs, only need to check and fill the water bowl while still providing smoke?

you still need the water bowel. the V drip pan has a hole in the center which makes it drip into the water bowel foe easyer clean up,

Great point, I almost took it out.  That would have been a mess.
