Title: CT Chickie Breasts
Post by: ArnieM on November 17, 2009, 06:38:30 PM
This isn't rocket science.  I'm only posting to encourage ideas.

I like simple food.  I did CT pork chops last night.  Tonight it's CT chicken breasts.

We start with a couple of bare breast halves.

Then they're slathered in CT and I use the needler on 'em.  They spread out some.  Then into a bag with more CT to marinate for an hour.

I take 'em out of the bag and wipe off the excess CT.  Then onto the grill.  Meanwhile, cook up some fresh green beans and cous cous with minced garlic and chives.

Yeah, I know they're not smoked.  But, if you're trying to whip up something in a short amount of time, with minimal work, it works.

Smoking this weekend.  Found some top round for 1.99.  Oh boy, oh boy.

I need to find some Carolina Treat and try it out. Can you tell me where I can get some?  ???

Also if it's high in carbs I'll have to wait a while before I can have some.  :-[

BTW those do look really good Arnie!

(hint, go with the 1/2 gal jugs on the 2nd page for the best value)

Not sure about the nutritional info...   I'll look at a bottle tonight.
