I put these two chuck roast 3 to 4 lbs on late and set for 3 hrs of smoke at 210.
It is on it's last puck and I just stuck the maverick in the smoker and they are at 136.
Does that seem right?
Not to me (but I drink on Christmas). I'd check both box and meat temp with another thermometer before I panicked.

I have misplaced my instant read. Hopes its not in the couch.
I never panick.
I wait a while and use the ole slice and look method.
Just touch it. If it don't "give"... whistle for the dog.

With the air temp you have, if they were at room temp when you put them in, that's only a small temp rise. Now, if you lived in a cold climate like some of us do, that might be a little quick! ;D

I think I ask this before. Damn I have a short memory.
At least you have a memory.

I see it. ;D
The first two are brothers and sisters. I co-own the female.
The male lives in Ga.
The last dog is mine, Got her from Cali.
So how much do they go for? They have real nice lines. Probably fetch a good buck.
Q, I haven't had a litter in a year, but the last ones went for around $2000
But, I spent probably over $10,000 in food/vet/etc last year.
Last two hurricanes I lost my kennels both times. Had dogs in every part of the house.
I bought every 10x10 kennel in town for temp housing.
It really is not a money maker, In fact I plan on only keeping about 6 dogs.

Are you trying to get out of the dog house Chris?
CRG,
Those are some fine looking hounds bulldogs. It is hard to beat a good dog for a compadre.
What's up with the roast, I thought you were still up to your elbows in masa for tamales?
Good luck and less hurricanes,
Pachanga
Been looking for a larger cab to convert and took a ride to look at one and when I got home "my help"
had gone to G/F house and a gross of tamales isn't something I wanted to tackle by myself.
I turned down Bradley for some sleep and at 6 broght her back up. Took roast off at 8:30 with IT of 147
