Hello gang!
I was around here all last week picking your brains and figuring things out- I did my 1st ever smoke/1st OBS smoke this weekend.
For the initial seasoning my bisquettes were not feeding, but a quick call to Bradley and we found it was just a loose connection from shipping- 5 min fix.
I was only able to find 5 lbs butts, I grabbed two. (1 8lb would have been ideal for me).
I used: Pecan Bisquettes, Maverick ET-7 and a couple bricks.
It was about 30 degrees and snow flurries, but the Bradley held the temperature perfect, I was pretty impressed.
Overall cook time was about 16/17 hrs to get to 190F and then 5 hrs FTC.
I used the "Vaunted vinegar" sauce as well as Habaneros rub that has been linked to a few times. Turned out perfect and the pork was a hit!
First pic is both butts after smoke finished, 2nd is smaller butt before FTC and last is the final product.

Glad to see that your first smoke turned out great. Keep it up and thanks for the pics.
Nice job on the butts.
That Vaunted Vinegar is the Bee's knees.
Thanks!
I cant say enough how pleased I am with the OBS. I didnt expect such great results on my first try. Next up will probably be brisket.
I can definitely see how a PID is handy for overnight smokes!
Nice job on your first smoke, the pork looks great.
