My dual probe Auber came in the mail the other day so I decided to try my first pulled pork. I went to the market and it was a bit expensive but I got a free range hormone free pork shoulder, after some reading I think it's a picnic shoulder I ended up with. I used the "Renowned Mr. Brown Barbecued Pork Butt" recipe but with iceman's Oink'r rub instead. I set the Auber to 205 until the IT was 180 only did 2hr 40mins of smoke as the wife doesn't like a strong smoke flavour. The weather wasn't that cooperative so a quick trip to Bass Pro and I had a make shift tent for the smoker. In the end it turned out pretty good and the wife really liked it too. Here's some pics:

Nice!
Way to improvise!
Good looking food too.
That _looks_ like the butt end of the shoulder.
I'll bet when you unzipped that tent you were innundated with smoke ;D
That is just too kewl!
Way to think on the run.
I see you are hiding your Bradley from the neighbors. ;D ;D ;D
Stealth Smoker... I love it..
Now I am trying to think if the smoke flavor smell inside the blind would warn off the game just a bit if they are down wind from you. Might make you want to field dress and smoke'm on site. :D
Nice looking pork and I love the snow pics.
Probably should've gone with the treebark instead of the mossy oak. ;D
Getter done.!!!!!! Inguinious, I love it !
Oh yeah and you can keep all that nasty white stuff right there :D
Where are you that it is still snowing?
In Calgary, Alberta. On Friday it was 20 C then the next day it's snowing, typical spring here. :-\
And they just got finished digging out from a pretty good blizzard a week ago. Oh I am not laughing at you, I am laughing with you. My sister,BIL and my mom are living in Red Deer, so I know what you are going threw, just glad I am not going threw it with them.

It was in the high 80's here today 89F. 84F right now.
Now that's a smoker! Way to get the job done!!
WOW!!!!... The last time I saw something like that, was uhhh... never...
I like your setup. Camouflaged from the neighbors.
You have a butt. For bone in roasts, to tell the difference, the butt has a "T" flatter shape shoulder blade bone, the picnic has a round femur bone. Also, most of the time the picnic will still have the skin still attached.
Ya this one has the skin attached, I cut it off, so that's why I thought it might have been a picnic one. Thanks for the info.
Way to think on the go Helheim.
I've got one of those blinds and have had many naps in it wile turkey huntin, ::) they do block the wind well.
Nice lookin pork too.
