10.5 won the growth bucket. .... he sent an E-mail suggesting that Susan find a school to give it to... It will be as he requested.

Perhaps another child will learn that tomatoes does not come from a super market.

That is a great Idea.

But with school almost being out maybe a summer program.

Very nice...

Olds, look for some schools with "Balanced Calendars".   They go more or less year round...  So summer gardening would be a perfect fit for them.

I just figured my wife and kids already know how to kill plants in the house. Or the cat eats them so why not let some kids get enjoyment out of a growth container. Maybe they will get the desire to go home and have Mom and Dad grow something.
