After three tries I finally got a nice rib, no foil in the smoker Just FTC for 3 hrs.

The wife and I starting munching on one right away straight out of the cooler. Took a butt out of the freezer this morning, should go on about 6 am tomorrow for Wednesday evening dinner, wish me luck. I couldn't have done this with out all the info on this forum from you guys, I appreciate it very much.
Hiram, Congrats - those look mighty tasty. Now, if you like them mighty spicy (not necessarily hot), try them the Rendezvous way sometime after you get pro with those.
