Title: Cabellas Smokehouse Jerkey
Post by: mow_delon on December 30, 2010, 08:44:40 AM
Does anyone use the Cabelas brand smokehouse jerkey kits?  Got a bunch of them for Christmas (enough to make 120 lbs of meat) and made some ground venison jerkey yesterday.  The Pepper jerkey is probably the best kit jerky I have ever made.  The Sweet and Hot, however, is not.  No flavor at all.  Was wondering if anyone else has used these and had these results?

They are good. Cabelas smokehouse seasonings and kits are made by PS Seasonings for Cabelas.

Sweet hot just add some cayenne and 1 Tbs salt
