Well I just laid down 2 very nice butts for a long low and slow smoke. These are the butts I'll serve at my first "Can you cook for me party" I hope this works out and maybe I can spread my wings a little and do this more often.
Now I did want to do these in my SRG's but then again I want no mis-steps and I want perfect pulled pork!
Both butts are right at 8.25 lbs and went in my OBS at 11:00 P.M tonight.

How can it not work out? Pork butts, Bradley....you're all good! What is the rub you used?
Are they done yet? ;D
All done and very tasty! Yes I know the box looks shiny but I only have a few smokes under my belt. Give me time summer is close and there's a lot of pig left to cook!(http://i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt326/TMBs/Easterpractice001.jpg)

That pile of pulled pork looks mighty moist from over here, nice bark too.
The BBB rub is pretty tasty, just the right amount of sugar.
yummmy
Those look nice! I did about 16 lbs a couple weeks ago and last night i couldn't find but one small package in the freezer ??? It doesn't last long!
If I were you, my next investment would be a larger water pan for those overnight cooks.

No I'll buy a bigger Bradley!! ;D (if Kimmie agrees) ;)
What a beautiful job. Those look perfectly done, moist and nice bark.
good job, I have to admit I also like the BBB Rub. Makes for a perfect finished product. I usually rub a little Frenches on mine. Way to go, those looked great.
