your water? You know, from the bowl? Can't just pour it down the sink, not with all that burnt sawdusts and all, and I tend to kill my grass when I pour it out in the yard, so what do yall do?

In my city, we have a trash can dedicated to green waste... It's perfect for my water because it's just ash/wood/water :)
We have a grid in the street outside to take rain water away, I put mine down this drain as it gets far worse by way of leaves, soil and stones so a small ammount of sawdust is not going to block it!![;)][:D]

I would bet it is the grease in the bowel and not the burnet pucks that is killing your grass. Grease brings bugs and stuff that eat.
The burnet puckets will raise the pH level of the soil. These pucks are not completely burned into ash. However, ash when used correctly makes for one fine potash for fertilizer.
Another thought is the water that is left in the bowl might still be a little too hot for the grass....
I know of no disposal laws State or Fed that would not allow you to just place the pucks and water into a plastic bag and into the garbage. There is nothing toxic, no heavy metals, no pesticides, no paints nor distilled petroleum products.

I have woods on two sides of my property line, so I just throw it in the woods. At first I was concerned about attracting skunks, mice, coyotes etc, but at the spot I dump the pucks there is no signs of animal activity.

I''m on some property, so I dump it in my yard beyond a retaining wall which ulitmately is going to be paved. I grow lots of weeds, and no problem killing them from my perspective!

uh...ok.
I suppose I knew it was the grease from the food killing the grass, and I cannot see why I could not flush it...not any bigger than other objects disposed of the same way. And I suppose the grease gets put into the sewer from the sink too, so I suppose that is not a hazzard.

Unless you have a perfectly balanced septic tank (and there are not very many)this will cause some problems. I will tell you your system has enough problem with this balancing act with the infusion of washing machine output. You have all heard the saying "don't fool with Mother Nature" well it can also be said "Don't fool with the momma enzyme in the septic tank" . This is one of those things that the problem doesn't arise until later down the pike, like on a Sunday morning while you are getting ready for church or Monday morning when everyone is trying to get out the door. I know what whats-her-name[:o)] said "it takes a village" no, "It takes a happy septic tank"[8D] or maybe "if the septic tank ain't happy nobody is happy".

I have a 30 yard wide 'green strip/set back' from my back fence to the feeder road to the subdivision. My bowl gets tossed over the fence. Nothing but weeds and gophers so I don't feel too guilty about this, its not like the city is trying to keep it nice. I walk back there on occasion, and the rain and weather seem to break down what little is left of the pucks.
Somebody around here lines their bowl with tin foil. They drain off the water slowly leaving behind congealed grease and pucks. Then toss the tin foil package in the trash. If I had neighbours on three sides of me, that's what I would do.

We are on a sewage system, not septic tank. I grew up in a house that had one though...the grass was really green near the baffles, but the horses did not want to eat it....hmmmmm
