This afternoon I joined the ranks of the unemployed. 38 years and 10 months ago today I began my banking career as a teller making $400.00 monthly.

One chapter of life closes and a new one opens tomorrow. :)

Congrats Larry. I started working when I was 14 so that's 34 years so far. And I have my retirement all planned out. Unfortunately it involves a pine box and 6 feet of dirt. And no I am not going to be gardening. :D :D :D ;D You enjoy it, you earned it.

Thank you each and everyone. New experience for sure. As far as tipping a couple in New Orleans, I'm down with that! Jan and I leave for NOLA 3 weeks from today! Have to be there for Easter Sunday weekend. Best weekend of the year for NOLA in our experience.

Congrats Larry! While my wife retired 2 1/2 years ago I still have 5 years to go before I can collect my SS. However, I will still run the company. In truth I'm semi retired as it is.

Again congrats and I hope the next door you go through is a good one for you.
